Sub-System Design Engineer
A leading defence organisation is growing its Command & Control team to support a range of cutting-edge weapon system programmes. We're seeking Sub-System Design Engineers to help deliver complex and high-performance sub-systems that play a critical role in national defence.
 
The Role
You’ll contribute across the development lifecycle from managing technical requirements and defining hardware/software interfaces, to authoring design documentation and supporting system verification and certification.
 
Key responsibilities:

• Manage and review sub-system requirements
• Define and document system and interface designs
• Develop test plans and verification strategies
• Ensure traceability across requirements, tests, and evidence
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams

 
This Sub Systems Design role could be for you if you have:

• Experience in systems, software, or hardware development
• Strong background in requirements and interface definition
• Knowledge of system integration and verification practices
• Familiarity with model-based or structured development environments
• Eligibility for high-level UK Security Clearance
